The Ballina RSL Sub-Branch, located in New South Wales, Australia, is a chapter of the Returned and Services League of Australia NSW Branch. We are committed to providing support and advocacy for veterans and their families, commemorating military service, and fostering a sense of community among service members.
Sub-Branch activities include organizing commemorative events, hosting activities for our members and the wider community, offering member services, and operating the Ballina RSL museum. We also engage in advocacy and care for veterans, aiming to improve their well-being and honor their contributions to the nation.

FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE, on Remembrance Day we pause to commemorate
As a mark of respect to those who have died and suffered , the President Jamie Tanner and members of the Ballina sub-Branch cordially invite members of the Ballina Shire community, visitors , serving and past Defence Force members and their families to attend our public commemoration service.
The 2026 Ballina RSL sub-Branch Remembrance Day Commemoration Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony will be held at the Ballina RSL Club Memorial Park, opposite the Ballina RSL Club on Wednesday 11 November 2026.
Where we will pause at 11am to observe one minute’ silence and remember those who died or suffered for Australia, and our allied nations in all wars , conflicts and peacekeeping operations.

Service commences at Cenotaph near Ballina RSL on Grant Street
Veterans and Family Luncheon Event
11.30am to 2pm
Veterans and their families are invited to attend the Remembrance Day luncheon will follow the service. The luncheon will be held at the Ballina RSL Club in the Spinnakers/ Anchorage Room on the first floor.
Doors will be open at 11.30am for a 2-course hot luncheon.
- Active Ballina RSL sub-Branch Members , spouse/ Partner and their children 13 years + $10.00p.p
- Veterans , other ESO Members $15.00 pp.
- Children 5-12 years $10.00
- Children under 5 years Free
- Current serving ADF personnel in Uniform Free
Please note this is a private event, open only to veterans, service personnel and their families.
